Dental Examinations

Regular dental examinations are an important part of preventative health care. During a dental exam, Dr. O'Berry inspects your head, neck, face, & mouth for abnormalities & evaluates your risk of developing oral diseases. This includes cavities, gum disease, infections (bacterial, fungal, or viral), muscle and jaw joint disorders, or even cancer.

Radiographs, or x-rays, are a way of seeing things that are going on in your mouth that the normal eye cannot detect. This includes cavities in-between teeth and under fillings. They also aid in detecting changes in bone structure that can happen from things such as infections, gum disease, and some types of tumors.

Professional Cleanings

Professional teeth cleaning and polishing involves the removal of plaque off the teeth with the intention of preventing cavities, gingivitis, and periodontal disease. Tartar (calculus) and some stains are also removed from the teeth, leaving the teeth smoother and easier to routinely clean at home. After the teeth are polished, they are whiter and give you the feeling of having fresh and clean mouth.

Superior Restorations

Fillings and crowns are two ways of restoring teeth. Modern techniques and materials allow Dr. O'Berry to restore a tooth by removing the damaged portion of the tooth and rebuilding the tooth so that it looks, feels, and acts like the natural tooth did before it was damaged. It leaves the tooth looking good, feeling great, and strong for years to come.

Replace Missing Teeth

Losing a tooth does more than just put a gap in your smile. Thankfully, there are great alternatives to having a missing tooth. Dental implants and bridges are solutions that stay in your mouth. Partial and complete dentures come in and out of your mouth. They can be attached to dental implants for better retention and improved comfort. Let us know what you want and we can help you get it!

Bite Corrections

Having an imbalanced bite is probably the #1 undiagnosed or misdiagnosed problem in dentistry today. It's also the #1 cause of over half of the top 10 most common dental problems. Keeping the teeth clean only prevents cavities & gum disease. Correcting the bite prevents teeth from cracking, chipping, fracturing, wearing down, and moving. An uncorrected bite may also lead to fatigue, facial pain, jaw pain, and headaches.
